Description
Created by a Parisian dermatologist in 1950. Still the first thing makeup artists reach for, 75 years later.
The Lait-Crème Concentré has one of the great origin stories in French beauty. A Paris dermatologist, specializing in skin pathologies, created it as a therapeutic cream for his most sensitive patients. Word spread from dermatology clinics to beauty studios. By the 1970s, it was an open secret in the French makeup world. By the 2000s, international makeup artists were smuggling it home from Paris in their kits. Now, it is sold every 8 seconds worldwide.
And yet somehow, when tourists discover it in a French pharmacy — often with a €12 price tag — they still feel like they’ve found a secret. That’s the magic of this product.
Why It’s a 6-in-1
The formula is deliberately versatile: rich enough to nourish very dry skin as a moisturizer, light enough to absorb fully and work as a makeup primer, gentle enough to remove makeup as a cleansing milk, concentrated enough to work as an overnight mask, and calming enough for after-sun and post-shave use. 100% of women in clinical testing confirmed it works as a makeup base — foundation glides on without pilling, and skin looks naturally plumped and radiant.
- 🎬 Makeup artists’ primer
The standard preparation used backstage at Paris Fashion Week and on film sets worldwide. Creates a smooth, hydrated canvas that makes foundation look like skin. - 💧 Shea butter & aloe vera
Shea nourishes and repairs the lipid barrier; aloe vera soothes and provides instant moisture. Together they plump the skin without greasiness. - 🧴 Soy proteins
Firm and tone the skin, visibly reducing fine lines with regular use — all in a formula that absorbs quickly and feels silky. - 🌙 Overnight mask
Apply a thick layer before bed and wake up with intensely hydrated, visibly smoother skin. Your skin does the work while you sleep. - ✅ All skin types
Works for dry, normal, combination, and even oily skin as a lightweight base layer. Also suitable for babies and very sensitive skin.
How to Use
As a day cream and primer: apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin. Allow to absorb fully (1–2 minutes), then apply makeup. As a mask: apply a generous layer, leave for 10–15 minutes, remove excess with a damp cloth or leave overnight. As a cleanser: massage into skin in circular motions to dissolve makeup, then remove with a damp cotton pad. As after-sun or post-shave: apply to affected areas for immediate comfort.
